The HyQuant L is a compact, non-contact radar sensor designed for accurate water level measurement in rivers, canals, reservoirs, and other open water bodies. Built on advanced 60 GHz FMCW radar technology, it delivers high precision readings while keeping power consumption low — a combination that makes it ideal for both remote and urban monitoring sites.
Its small size and discreet design make installation quick and straightforward, whether on a bridge, boom, or custom structure. The HyQuant L comes in two variants — L20 (0.1 to 20 m) and L50 (0.15 to 50 m) — and can be upgraded on-site to measure velocity (HyQuant L+V) or flow/discharge (HyQuant Q) without replacing the unit.
With an IP68-rated housing, -40 to +80 °C operating range, and multiple data interfaces (SDI-12, Modbus, Wi-Fi), the sensor is built to handle tough field conditions. Configuration is simple using KISTERS’ HyComm software, which offers an intuitive setup wizard, real-time data viewing, and automatic firmware updates.
